Prisco E-Cure H-UV 891 is a high gloss H-UV coating for inline application over H-UV inks and a variety of substrates. When applied over the E-Cure H-UV 890 Reticulating Effect Overprint Varnish, it is designed to produce a reticulated or ‘orange peel’ patterned film. The resulting film formation produces a rough tactile effect. Where the coating is applied in areas without varnish it will remain smooth and glossy producing a smooth versus rough contrasting effect on the sheet. This product is designed to have excellent flexibility, adhesion properties, gloss depth, and clarity. The coating film weight can be adjusted to change the desired effect.
