PriscoTech® AquaFilter™
In order to properly perform its function, fountain solution should be as free of contaminants as possible. This condition is especially difficult to achieve when one considers the ink, dust, paper lint and chemicals that exist on the press with the solution.
The PriscoTech AquaFilter is designed to effectively remove contaminants from the fountain solution before it is re-introduced to the fountain on the press. Using a specially developed filter material that attracts ink and prevents the passage of suspended particulates, AquaFilter’s principle of operation relies on a large filtration surface for maximum effectiveness and for maximum flow.
Available in two versions, AquaFilter I is ideal for use on Royse™, Baldwin® and other 5 to 10 gallon tanks, while the AquaFilter II is designed for service with central tanks. Easy to install, both feature pressure gauges to monitor flow, inlet ball valves, which allow for filter changes without the need to drain the chiller/recirculator, and stainless steel mounting brackets as well as other high-quality materials, thus assuring long service life.
