An optimum relative humidity for most pre-press, paper storage and pressroom environments is 45-50%. Printers know that dry air causes paper to lose its natural moisture, so it risks picking up static electricity resulting in wrinkling, losing register and causing paper feed jams. Proper humidity levels in digital printing production areas are necessary for optimum equipment performance, print quality and problem-free media feeding. PriscoTech humidification systems improve the working environment, productivity and press utilization along with your product quality resulting in a positive impact on your profits.
Our modular concept consists of several different misting head options which are combined with a high-pressure water pump and ICC controller for almost unlimited configuration possibilities. Water is atomized into micro-sized particles that are absorbed quickly into the air, insuring the ultimate in humidity control. Our systems are designed for ease of installation and to be extremely resistant to dust or dirt. Flexible Configuration
Precise humidification of any production environment can be accomplished by combining multiple ICCs, misting head types and custom configured high-pressure components. Each ICC controller is capable of maintaining precise humidity levels in one- or two-zones. AquaMist™ – A single misting nozzle, a 3 nozzle cluster or a 5 nozzle cluster and quiet axial fan distribute humidity in a narrow pattern up to 50’ within an area of up to 1000 ft2 (20’ x 50’). Depending upon the nozzle configuration used, between .01 to .125 gal/min (5 – 65 lb/hr) of water is delivered with no fall-out.
CoolMist™ – With evenly spaced nozzles and lines, humidity is distributed equally throughout the plant.Depending upon nozzle size used, between .1 to .25 gal/min(50 – 125 lb/hr) of water is delivered with no fall-out.
SpaceMist™ 50 – Up to six evenly spaced misting nozzles and quiet axial fan distribute humidity in a 360° pattern within an area of up to 900 ft2. Depending upon nozzle size (.006” or .008”) used, between .06 to .1 gal/min (30 – 60 lb/hr) of water is delivered with no fall-out.
SpaceMist™ 125 – Up to ten evenly spaced misting nozzles and quiet axial fan distribute humidity in a 360° pattern within an area up to 3600 ft2. Depending upon nozzle size (.006”, .008” or .012”) used, between .1 to .25 gal/min (50 – 125 lb/hr) of water is delivered with no fall-out. The “shearing effect” of high velocity air accelerates evaporation over the entire area.
Each component carries a 1-year parts and 90 day labor warranty. An extended warranty is available.
